Yamini Nambimadom began performing at a young age, taking the stage for the first time as a Chimney Sweep in a first grade production of Mary Poppins.

In college, she wrote & performed sketch and improv with Off Off Campus at the University of Chicago. Upon graduating, a global pandemic propelled her into the digital comedy space, where she honed her comedic voice making silly videos poking fun at culturally relevant characters like mommy bloggers and bad therapists. She's performed stand up around the country, appearing on lineups with the likes of Meg Stalter, Atsuko Okatsuka, and Maria Bamford.
At the moment, Yamini's energy's focused on acting and writing. She's spent the past few years doing sketch comedy, writing personal projects, and acting in indie features, short films, and web series as well as nationally airing commercial spots.

Yamini hopes to create work that is campy, honest, and irreverent, opting to write and perform with her friends whenever possible.

Yamini is managed by STAPLEVIEW and repped by CESD (Theatrical), REIGN AGENCY (Commercial), and MINELLI MANAGEMENT (Print).
