Yamini Nambimadom began performing comedy at fourteen, doing improv with the ComedySportz LA High School League. In college, she wrote & performed sketch and improv with Off Off Campus at the University of Chicago, one of the oldest collegiate comedy troupes in the country. While attending college in Chicago, Yamini studied at the Second City and began performing stand-up at various venues around the city. Upon graduating, a global pandemic propelled her into the digital comedy space, where she flourished. Since then, Yamini has curated a unique brand of politically charged, socio-sexual, culturally empowering humor. Her videos poke fun at characters like abstinence educators, bad therapists, mommy bloggers, and more. From 2020 to 2023, Yamini hosted and produced the podcast Pillow Fight, a sleepover-style show aimed to foster more accessible conversations about news and culture.
